Program Description: This program is a webinar “Legal and Judicial Influences on the Practice of Medicine“ presented as a recorded lecture. It begins with 50-minutes of lecture followed by 10-minutes of questions and answers.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion, participants should be able to: • Identify the common areas in which the law influences the practice of neurology • Understand disclaimers and capacity • Have a fundamental understanding of advanced directives and end of life care
Instructions: Instructions on how to view the recorded webinar will be sent directly via email upon confirmation of registration. This will include step by step instructions.
The recording of the live webinar is presented in video format with informative slides and narration by the course director Daniel G. Larriviere, MD, JD, FAAN. Controls for pausing, forwarding and reversing through the presentation are presented at the bottom of the screen.
Before the webinar, participants will be required to submit a pre-test.
Following the webinar, participants will be required to submit a post-test and brief evaluation of the event.
