Program Description: This program is a webinar “Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Development“presented as a recorded lecture. It begins with 50-minutes of lecture followed by 10-minutes of questions and answers.
Learning Objectives: •Upon completion, participants should be able to: •Understand the importance of biomedical research funding •Understand the process required to approve new medications •Understand the difference between name brand and generic drugs •Understand the fundamentals of pharmaceutical pricing •Awareness of future challenges and opportunities in pharmaceutical development and pricing

The recording of the live webinar is presented in video format with informative slides and narration by the course director Nicholas E. Johnson, MD. Controls for pausing, forwarding and reversing through the presentation are presented at the bottom of the screen.
Before the webinar, participants will be required to submit a pre-test.
Following the webinar, participants will be required to submit a post-test and brief evaluation of the event.
