Description: Welcome to Basic CV and LOR Resuscitation: CVs and letters of recommendation (LORs) tell a story about you long before you meet an interested party in person. Attend this 45-min primer or refresher to becoming your best self on paper! Professionalism of presentation is not routinely covered beyond undergraduate learning. By the time we are done with training, or in the early career-phase, or even later - it could be humbling requesting help to develop your CV. This interactive stage lecture has been presented at the AAN for the past 4 years and is designed for professionals at all levels to hear interesting tips, do's, do not's, and high yield advice on CV & LOR development. You might be amazed at how a few simple adjustments to your current CV or your approach to obtaining effective LORs can open doors to new opportunities. To enrich your learning experience, attendees are asked to have a digital copy of their CV available for their reference during this session.
