Description: Residents may primarily be learners, but they also can be influential teachers, mentors, and role models. Dr. Cutsforth-Gregory will share techniques for maximizing residents’ effectiveness as educators as they walk the high wire between learner and teacher. Personal stories and role play will showcase several strategies for success as a resident teacher, including reinforcement of learning objectives, diagnosing the learner, providing useful feedback, and inspiring curiosity.
