Description: Both curriculum and clerkship administrators have the opportunity to make a real difference for their individual institutions, programs, and clerkships.  This program builds upon the premise that professionalism is an approach to one's work. Clerkship Administrators play a pivotal role in the curriculum by bringing skills from a wide spectrum of specialties and experiences. This is a multi-faceted program that is composed of two minimum segments.  This is the first of two segments which will offer participants to understand the leadership qualities they possess in their role in medical education.  They discover the importance of emotional intelligence in the workplace and leadership.  Articulate communication strategies with their course directors, medical students, and other education personnel.
Completion Message: Participants will become familiar with understanding key leadership concepts, exploring their role as a leader in medical education, understand Emotional Intelligence and its role in the workplace, and develop a personal and professional mission with career objectives.
