Description: From to Pong to Fortnite, video games have gone from a casual pastime to a multi-billion dollar global industry that connects millions of gamers around the world.  Video games have become pervasive into every day life, and are on our personal mobile devices and dedicated home systems.  How do video games affect the brain? A whole generation is growing up with massive online role playing games, e-sports competitions, and mobile technology making all of these games ubiquitous which prompts controversial questions about addictiveness, impaired development, improved hand-eye coordination, and therapeutic applications. Come join us for a discussion of the potential neurological impacts of video games.
