Description: Leaders must make professional well-being an organizational priority. All of us know by now that physician burnout is a rampant problem that negatively impacts our patients' safety and our own right to pursue health and happiness. Too often, well intended solutions have focused solely on the individual doctor's habits. However, burnout is also the result of system failures. We will review system-level strategies to reduce burnout as well as how you, regardless of your role, can influence change.
Completion Message: Attendees will learn how to assess for burnout, attract stakeholder support for clinician well-being, and approach the problem with system and individual level thinking.
CME Credits: 0.75
