Description: | Mentorship is consistently identified as one of the most important factors in developing a successful academic career in neurology or any other biomedical discipline. This process is most likely to fail when a fully-trained young neurologist moves into their first faculty position, especially if this is at a new institution. Presenters will describe how we have built a systematic approach to providing a mentoring network for people joining our department as new assistant professors. |
