Description: Neurologists are frequently faced with ethical conundrums.  In this presentation, we will debate three controversial topics: 1) physician-assisted suicide in patients with progressive neuromuscular disease; 2) prescription of medical marijuana for refractory epilepsy in states where medical marijuana is illegal; and 3) the power of the family to demand treatment in the setting of medical futility.
