Description: Lifestyle medicine uses nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and healthy sleep habits to prevent, manage, and even reverse many chronic diseases without any unwanted side effects. This session will describe scientific evidence in support of lifestyle medicine and ways in which you can incorporate its principles into your life and the lives of your patients. The American Board of Lifestyle Medicine administered its inaugural Board certification examination in October 2017, lending credibility to the field, which has applicability to all medical specialties including neurology.
