Topic(s): MS and CNS Inflammatory Disease
Director(s): Stephen Krieger MD, FAAN
Description: Dr. Krieger (Mount Sinai) and Dr. Azevedo (USC) will blitz through 6 current hot topics in Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis and clinical course in this concise disease-focused program. Dr. Krieger will review clinical pitfalls in MS diagnosis in the era of the 2017 Diagnostic Criteria, provide insights into clinical course from the topographical model of MS, and examine the implications of a new laboratory biomarker for MS, neurofilament light.
