Description: Autoimmune neurology is now recognized as a distinct specialty in neurology. With the rapid advances in diagnostic and therapeutic options, all practicing neurologists should be aware of the advances in understanding of autoimmune neurologic diseases and the proper use and interpretation of neurologic autoantibody testing. This program will provide an overview of the history of the evolution of autoimmune neurology and highlight the latest developments in the field.
Completion Message: Participants should become familiar with the major autoimmune neurologic diseases and develop a framework for understanding the use and implications of different neurologic autoantibodies. Participants will get a historical context for this field of neurology and updates on recent developments.
