Description: | Neurology is one of the fastest changing fields in all of medicine and has differentiated into numerous well-defined complex subspecialties. These factors make it an enormous challenge to stay current. The Annual Meeting will offer four update programs each covering three unique subjects presented by a pre-eminent expert in the field who has demonstrated superior skills at delivering material of this type to large audiences. The Neurology Update courses are intended to focus on and highlight important developments in the subspecialties from the past year or two. This program complements Neurology Update I: Multiple Sclerosis, Sleep, and Neuromuscular Disease, Neurology Update III: Headache, Neuro-otology, and Epilepsy, and Neurology Update IV: Stroke, Neuro-infectious Disease, and Autoimmune Encephalopathies, but covers independent topics. |
Completion Message: | Participants should be able to differentiate between common demenias and select appropriate therapies for each, select and apply various new therapies for Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, select patients who might benefit from deep brain stimulation, and to recognize and diagnose common neuro-ophthalmological conditions. |
