Description: Attendees, pick up your lunch in Exhibit Hall C or Broad Street Atrium before coming to this program. Chief residents are identified because of their leadership potential. In this course, current and future neurology chief residents will explore their own leadership potential, learn skills to enhance their success in their leadership role, and develop critical skills for use in this and future leadership roles. This program will facilitate the development of the resident who is poised to lead neurologists who promote the highest quality patient-centered neurologic care and professional development.
Completion Message: Upon completion, the participant will develop communication strategies to optimize interactions between the resident leader and his/her stakeholders; describe key attributes and role of a resident leader; and define problem solving strategies for crisis, stress and conflict.
