Description: | This program will provide attendees with detailed information about the approach to the history and physical in patients with dizziness, and specifically regarding the three most common peripheral vestibular disorders: Vestibular neuritis, Meniere's disease, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. A solid understanding of these common peripheral vestibular disorders is critical to the neurologist who evaluates patients with dizziness. Evidence-based diagnosis and management will be discussed, when applicable. This program complements Neuro-otology: Diagnosis and Treatment of Nuanced Causes of Dizziness, but covers independent topics. |
Completion Message: | Participants should be able to identify the key aspects of the history and examination for dizziness presentations, particularly regarding the three most common peripheral vestibular disorders. |
