Description: | Faculty will provide current perspectives on the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and care of patients with myasthenia gravis, ocular and MuSK myasthenia. Case presentations will demonstrate a practical approach to identification, evaluation, and management of common and more challenging patients in the clinical setting. This program complements Neuromuscular Junction Disorders II: Toxins, Lambert-Eaton Syndrome and Less Common Disorders of Neuromuscular Transmission, but covers independent topics. |
Completion Message: | Participants should be familiar with the diagnosis and management of patients with myasthenia gravis and related disorders, learn to critically select therapies, and be able to distinguish myasthenia gravis, MuSK myasthenia, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, and recognize the less common disorders of neuromuscular transmission. |
