Description: This interactive session will focus on the challenges involved in studying Neurological History, the benefits of such research, and specifically the impact of historical studies on current practice. The presenter will select salient examples from his own career and facilitate a discussion with audience members on their experiences. The session will also highlight opportunities within the AAN for funding and recognition of researchers pursuing neurological history topics and the rich archive and collections under the AAN’s direction.
