Description: Diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and related disorders are getting more complex. Through a case-based approach, including common and uncommon scenarios, we will discuss issues related to diagnosis and treatment choices, including starting, monitoring, switching, and stopping disease modifying therapies. This program complements C109: Multiple Sclerosis Overview II: Clinical Advances and C122: Multiple Sclerosis Overview III: The Pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis and Mechanism of Action of Treatments for MS, but cover independent topics.
Completion Message: Participants should become more familiar with diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and related conditions, including use of more efficacious and risky medications.
