Description: The role of advanced practice providers (APP) in the care of neurologic patients is increasingly critical. Formal neurological training dedicated to APPs varies across the country. This program will provide information for the early career APP and complements Clinical Neurology for APPs I. Through clinical presentations of common eye exam findings faculty will facilitate a discussion of neuro ophthalmology for the practicing APP. During the second hour, faculty will review the evaluation and management of migraine and medication overuse headache. This program complements C36: Clinical Neurology for Advanced Practice Providers I.
Completion Message: Participants should identify and localize common findings during the eye exam and build a basic foundation of neuro ophthalmology. Participants will also become familiar with the evaluation and management of migraine and medication overuse headache.
