Description: This program will provide participants with a global overview of Parkinson's disease, including the latest information about pathophysiology, genetic and environmental risk factors, biomarkers, and clinical phenomenology. Faculty will focus on the evidence-based management of motor symptoms, nonmotor symptoms, and complications of dopaminergic therapy, including the role of new and emerging medical and surgical treatments.
Completion Message: Participants should have a broad understanding of Parkinson's disease, including pathophysiology, genetics, biomarkers, risk factors, motor and nonmotor symptoms, complications of dopaminergic therapy, and evidence-based medical and surgical therapies.
