Description: The role of advanced practice providers (APP) in the care of neurologic patients is increasingly critical. Through building a foundation of neuroimaging knowledge and reviewing the clinical features and diagnostic work-up of stroke patients, the APP will be able to directly apply this knowledge to the neurologic practice. Clinical cases will be discussed. This program complements C181: Clinical Neurology for Advanced Practice Providers II, but covers independent topics.
Completion Message: Participants should be able to build a basic foundation for using and interpreting neuroimaging, and have clinical knowledge of the diagnosis and evaluation of a stroke patient.
