C106 - Case Studies: Unusual Movement Disorders

Description: This course has a long tradition of case presentations by both the faculty and members of the audience, highlighting diagnostic challenges. Participants are invited to bring interesting cases for presentation. These cases will be intermixed with cases from the faculty. Known diagnoses will be prioritized. The faculty will first emphasize an interactive discussion regarding visual recognition of the clinical phenomenology followed by a discussion of differential diagnoses, investigations, and management. Attendees hoping to present cases should contact Kailash Bhatia, MD, FAAN, at k.bhatia@ucl.ac.uk to discuss the potential case presentation.
Completion Message: Participants should become familiar with unusual movement disorders and be able to formulate better differential diagnoses for them. Where relevant, participants should also be able to initiate appropriate diagnostic investigation and management of these disorders.
