Craig is Vice President of Training, Recruiting and Public Relations for Pinnacle Health Group. Craig came to PHG with healthcare experience in both patient care and physician recruiting. For the past seven years, he has been responsible for the recruitment training for all of Pinnacle Health Group’s companies/divisions; including their Philippines-based call center.
Craig’s knowledge of healthcare recruitment comes from over 18 years in the healthcare industry. He spent the first 4 years of his career in patient care and the remaining 14 years focused on recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers. Further, Craig serves on the Board of Directors for National Association of Physician Recruiters; where for past 3 years he has been the Education Chairperson and currently holds the position of Education Chair, Convention Chair and Vice-President for the organization.
As a full-time recruiter, Craig has recruited to small rural communities, complex healthcare systems as well as large academic institutions. He has recruited advanced practice providers, primary care physicians, subspecialists, medical directors and faculty physicians.
Craig holds a BA in psychology and an MBA.
Craig is a frequent speaker and facilitator at national and regional conferences in the areas of recruitment and employment trends. He is also adjunct faculty for the University of Phoenix where he teaches Business Ethics and other undergraduate management courses.

Jennifer McCalla is the Physician Recruiter for Valley Baptist Medical Health System’s Harlingen and Brownsville hospital campuses. Ms. McCalla joined the Health System in 2008. Prior to her career in Physician Recruiting she worked in Recruitment and Internal Placement with Miami Dade County.
Ms. McCalla began her career as an Air Force Officer after completion of Air Force ROTC at the University of Florida. Her assignments included assignments at Ft. Rucker, AL, Randolph AFB, TX, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH and 6 Air Tactical Air Force, NATO, Izmir Turkey. During her nine years of active duty service, she served as a Squadron Section Commander, Protocol Officer and General’s Aide.
After leaving the Air Force Jennifer worked for Jones Lang LaSalle in Commercial Real Estate Management and Leasing in New York City and later the Coca-Cola Company’s New York office as the Manager for Real Estate and Facilities.
With a particular interest in working with residents, she has helped to develop a highly successful Residency Outreach and Retention program for her health system. The program covers everything from helping to properly format and prepare Curriculum Vitaes, pr, job search, interview skills to licensure.
Jennifer holds a BA degree in Political Science and a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration, both from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Medical Staff Recruiter and Associate level member of the Association of Medical Staff Recruiters.
Ms. McCalla is the mother of two boys, Aidan and Addison. She is a Den Leader in the Cub Scouts, a Children’s Chapel leader and the Valley Baptist Ambassadors of Service.(more)
