Description: The sport of boxing has historically been most popular in urban areas like Philadelphia where immigrants settled and struggled to chase the American dream.  Boxing is the only sport where scoring is based on inflicting neurologic injury.  In this session we will discuss controversies as well as ethical considerations in combat sports.  The audience will be called upon to decide who should or shouldn’t be allowed to participate and, based on video analysis, when and if a fight should be stopped.
