The AAN is the world’s largest association of neurologists and the largest trade association in Minnesota. The Academy was established in 1948 as a medical specialty society serving neurologists and the neuroscience community. Today, the AAN employs a staff of approximately 150 employees committed to advancing the art and science of neurology and promoting the best possible care for patients with neurologic disorders.
